Quarterly employment survey starts
*
Auxiliary Medical Service

The Census & Statistics Department has launched its latest quarterly survey to collect data on employment and vacancies in major sectors of the economy.

This round covers 47,000 establishments drawn from various sectors, including the industrial and services sectors.

Information on the number of people engaged and existing vacancies, together with the characteristics of job vacancies, as at September 30, will be sought from each selected establishment.

Questionnaires are being sent by mail or fax to selected establishments. If they have any difficulties in completing the questionnaires, they can contact the department for assistance at 2234 3700.
