Professor Chan Ka-lok, Fong Hup and Martin Wheatley have been appointed members of the Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Risk Management Committee for two-year terms from July 1, while Eddie Yue has been re-appointed.

The Financial Secretary thanked two outgoing members, Prof Lam Kin and Leong Ka-chai for their contributions.

The committee was established in March, 2000, to formulate policies on risk management matters relating to activities of HKEx and its subsidiaries for consideration by the HKEx board.

The committee is chaired by HKEx Chairman Charles Lee, and other members are Peter Wong, Dr Bill Kwok and Henry Fan.
