Sinopec wins petrol station tender
*
Lands Department

The tender for four petrol filling stations at Pok Fu Lam, King's Road, Prince Edward Road West, and Tung Chung New Town has been collectively awarded to Sinopec on a 21-year land grant at a total premium of $358.66 million.

Sinopec's parent company is China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation.

The vacant site at Tung Chung Town will provide Liquefied Petroleum Gas. The others are re-tendered sites for the development of petrol stations.

Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the sites to the highest tenderer.

The successful tender was submitted on the basis of a single tender premium amount for the purchase of all four sites collectively as one package.

Apart from the successful tender, there were nine separate tenders submitted by four tenderers for the sites individually and one collective tender for all four sites.
