Budget publications to go online

The 2005-06 Budget Speech and a leaflet highlighting its key proposals will go online at www.budget.gov.hk at 4.30pm March 16 after Financial Secretary Henry Tang presents the speech in the Legislative Council.

 

Copies will be available at 20 Home Affairs Department public enquiry service centres and an Information Services Department counter on the ground floor of the Murray Building in Central until 7.30pm.

 

Copies of the leaflet will also be distributed at:

* the Queensway, North Point and Tsuen Wan Government Offices;

* the Immigration, Revenue, Wan Chai, and Trade & Industry Department Towers;

* Labour Department offices in Revenue Tower, Western Magistracy, Marina House in Shau Kei Wan, Stelux House in San Po Kong, and the Cheung Sha Wan, Mong Kok, Kowloon East and Kwai Hing Government Offices;

* Central, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, Tai Koo, Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, Wong Tai Sin, Kwun Tong, Kwai Fong, Tsuen Wan, Po Lam and Tsing Yi MTR stations;
* Hung Hom, Kowloon Tong, Sha Tin, Tai Po Market and Sheung Shui KCR East Rail stations;
* Nam Cheong, Tin Shui Wai and Tuen Mun KCR West Rail stations;
* HSBC Main Building Ground Plaza;

* Times Square, Causeway Bay;
* Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui; and,
* the Housing Authority's 56 shopping centres.
