The Lands Department issued two consents for the sale of 1,384 residential units in November. The two developments, in Tsuen Wan and Sha Tin, are estimated to be completed between July 2005 and February 2006.
At the end of November, there were 16 applications for pre-sale consent pending approval, involving 10,640 residential units.
Of them, nine cases involving 4,544 units are estimated to be completed next year, and the remaining seven involving 6,096 units before September, 2006.
There are three applications for pre-sale consent for commercial developments pending approval. There are also two applications for consent to assign involving 1,650 residential units and two applications for consent to assign for commercial developments pending approval.
The latest information on consents to sell units in uncompleted developments issued for the past six months and cases pending approval as of the end of November are available by calling 2147 5475 or visiting the department's website.
The names of the developer, its parent company (if any), its solicitors, authorised person (including the name of the firm) and the mortgagee bank (if any) in respect of individual development are also available through the hotline's fax-on-demand facilities or the website.
