Building unit deals up 81.3%

Sale and purchase agreements for all types of building units registered in the Land Registry for the first half of the year was 63,813, up 22.5% over the previous six months and 81.3% over the same period last year.

 

The amount of consideration involved in the agreements was $177.32 billion, up 49.3% over the previous six months and 151% on the first half of 2003.

 

A total of 69,861 assignments of building units were registered, up 20.7% compared with 57,877 recorded in the previous six months, and up 33.9% over the 52,175 recorded in the same period last year.

 

The amount of consideration involved in the assignments was $151.53 billion, up 26.3% over the previous six months and 73.6% compared with the same period last year.
