The Lands Department issued two consents for the sale of 1,481 residential units in May. The two developments, located in the New Territories and on Hong Kong Island, are estimated to be completed by January and March 2005.
Last month there were 15 applications for pre-sale consent pending approval, involving 9,486 units. Among them, four cases involving 1,709 units are expected to be completed before December, and six cases involving 5,309 flats before October 2005.
The remaining five cases involving 2,468 units are due to be completed by end of February 2006.
There were three applications for consent to assign, involving commercial units, pending approval last month.
People can obtain up-to-date information on consents to sell residential units in uncompleted developments issued for the last six months and cases pending approval as at the end of May by calling 2147 5475 or visiting the department's website.
The names of the developer, its parent company (if any), its solicitors, authorised person (including the name of the firm) and the mortgagee bank (if any) in respect of individual development are also available to the public in the form of reports obtainable through the fax-on-demand facilities of the hotline or the website.
