Warning issued on bogus website

*
SFC Logo

People should beware of fraudulent website www.jfunds.com which claims to yield annual returns of 15-25% over the long term for investors of Jeremy's funds.

The Securities & Futures Commission said the site has no relation to JF Funds Limited whose website is www.jffunds.com.

Suspected scam websites can either be swindlers using their websites to offer too-good-to-be-true investment opportunities which are bogus, or fraudulent copycat websites which imitate those of reputable financial institutions to lure investors to part with their money and disclose personal information.

Recently, it has come to the commission's attention that boiler room activities and scam websites have become more active.

If you wish to find out more about boiler room operations and scam websites, please refer to Boiler Room Operations, Scam Websites and Fraudulent Copycat Websites.
