Frederick Ma to visit Beijing
*

Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Frederick Ma will depart for Beijing tomorrow evening for a duty visit.

 

Mr Ma will meet Mainland officials in the fields of financial services and public finance. On Monday, he will lead a delegation of representatives from the insurance industry and the Commissioner of Insurance Richard Yuen to call on the China Insurance Regulatory Commission.

 

On Tuesday, he will join Financial Secretary Henry Tang to take part in the CEPA high level conference on professional services. Mr Ma will lead industry representatives from the accounting services, insurance and securities sectors to discuss with the relevant ministries at the meeting issues of interest to their particular professional services.

 

He will return to Hong Kong on Tuesday evening.
