GDP growth forecast to be adjusted: Henry Tang
*

Hong Kong's economy has enjoyed a good rebound after the SARS outbreak, Financial Secretary Henry Tang says, adding he expects the GDP growth forecast to be adjusted accordingly when it is released this Friday.

Speaking after returning from Fuzhou, Mr Tang said our economy is taking a turn for the better in the wake of the robust growth in the Mainland's economy and the implementation of CEPA.

The general improvement of the economic situation of our trading partners also helps underpin our economic recovery, he added.

Noting that our exports and re-exports have seen substantial growth, he is optimistic Hong Kong's re-exports of goods will continue to increase in the next couple of months.
