Permanent Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development (Communications & Technology) Elizabeth Tse started a three-day visit to Beijing today to discuss information and communications technology, innovation and technology, creative industries, film and broadcasting on the Mainland.
Her delegation will call on the Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office, the Ministry of Industry & Information Technology, the Ministry of Science & Technology, and the State Administration of Radio Film & Television. They will also visit the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the State Key Laboratory.
The delegation will visit the Beijing Cultural & Creative Industry Promotion Centre and the Beijing 798 Arts Zone to learn about their work in promoting creative industries.
They will return to Hong Kong May 27.
