Celebrities share entrepreneurship, arts views
*

Three celebrities have shared their views on entrepreneurship, creativity and arts with 300 school principals, teachers and students at an activity the Education Bureau organised.

DHL International Ltd co-founder Po Chung, Asia Financial Holdings President Bernard Chan, and stage performer and PIP Cultural Industries founder Jim Chim attended  the sixth session of the Dialogue with Celebrities Series - Nurturing Students' Well-being through the Arts at the bureau's Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre today.

Sharing his experience of studying visual arts in university, Mr Chan said this fostered his self-exploration as well as his development of flexibility and adaptability, all of which are key elements conducive to his enterprise management.

In facing the tremendous development on the Mainland, it is of primary importance that an enterprise adapt to the rapid changes of the market to maintain its competitiveness and sustainable development, he added.

"Design thinking" used by artists and designers is often adopted in enterprise management. It can also be applied to other industries, and even to how people plan their life journey. Young people aspiring to a successful career need to apply their knowledge and skills flexibly in their problem solving.
