SKH St James' Primary School Principal Langton Cheung has been appointed Quality Education Fund Steering Committee member, and former principal Rita Mansukhani a co-opted member, the Education Bureau says.

Sun Hung Kai Properties Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer Patrick Chan and Ho Wong & Wong Solicitors & Notaries Partner Duffy Wong have been reappointed members. All appointments are for two years from tomorrow.

Secretary for Education Michael Suen said he is confident, with these appointments, the fund will continue with its excellent work in promoting quality school education in Hong Kong. He thanked outgoing member Jane Lo for her contributions to the committee in recent years.

Since its establishment in 1998 the fund has supported more than 7,700 projects with grants amounting to $3.7 billion.
