Tsuen Wan job fair to offer more than 2,200 posts
*
Labour Department

A two-day job fair at the Atrium in the Tsuen Wan Plaza, at 4-30 Tai Pa Street, on January 4 and 5 will feature more than 2,200 vacancies. A total of 20 companies will participate in the fair, with 10 participating companies on each day.

The fair will run from 11am to 5.30pm.

The companies are from the catering, property management and retail sectors. Posts offered include shop supervisor, shop assistant, cook, waiter/waitress, customer services officer and security guard. More information is available on the Labour Department's Interactive Employment Service website.

About 70% of the vacancies offered are full-time jobs. Most offer a monthly salary ranging from $5,000 to $10,000. More than 95% of the vacancies require Form 5 education level or below, and about 65% of them are open to job seekers without relevant experience.

The Labour Department, Tsuen Wan District Office and Tsuen Wan District Council are co-organising this fair. Job-seekers may submit job applications and have the opportunity for a selection interview on the spot. The Labour Department will also conduct on-site registration.
