Winning entries in a 3D animation competition with more than 500 student participants from about 100 schools are being showcased at the Innovation Festival 09 this month.

Speaking at the award presentation ceremony of the Hong Kong Youth 3D Animation Competition 2009 today, Assistant Commissioner for Innovation & Technology Nicholas Chan praised the students for being able to understand and have a command the 3D technique in a short time.

The Innovation & Technology Commission organised the competition, together with Cyberport and the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association Science Innovation Centre.
