The Labour Department will hold a job fair in Tin Shui Wai on January 5 and 6, offering more than 4,000 vacancies at 38 firms.

Nineteen companies will participate each day. They will set up counters and offer vacancies for on-the-spot recruitment. Available positions include those in catering, retail, business services and property management.

The department will conduct on-the-spot registration for job seekers.

About 70% of the vacancies are full-time jobs. Most of them offer a monthly salary ranging from $4,000 to $10,000. About 97% of these vacancies require Secondary 5 educational level or below. More than 70% are open to job seekers without relevant experience.

The job fair will be held at G/F, Tin Yiu Community Centre Hall, Tin Yiu Estate, Tin Shui Wai from 11am to 6pm. Admission is free. For more information, click here.
