12 nominated for labour advisory board

Labour Department

The Labour Department has received 12 valid nominations of candidates from registered employee unions for the election of employee representatives to the Labour Advisory Board.

 

Five candidates will be elected to the board for a two-year term from January. The 12 candidates are Leung Chau-ting, Lee Tak-ming, Chung Kwok-sing, Tsui Sai-cheung, Chan Chit-kwai, Palungwa Dil Bahadur, Rai Nityanand, Limbu Buddi Man, Ng Wai-yee, Cheung Siu-wing, Chiu Sin-chung and Ho Kwong-nam.

 

There are 391 employee unions registered with the department as electors appointed authorised representatives to vote.
