Watsons Water management and its staff have reached an agreement on wage arrangements after two rounds of mediation meetings.
Welcoming the development the Labour Department called on employers and employees to foster and maintain good labour relations through mutual understanding and frank communication. It also encouraged employers and employees to resolve their differences in a sympathetic, pragmatic and rational manner.
The department said it is working through various channels to maintain close liaison with industry stakeholders to promote good labour relations.
It also urged employers and employees to contact the department for enquiries and assistance regarding labour relations issues.
