Nine West Coast College-run courses have been deregistered from the Continuing Education Fund with immediate effect as it fails to comply with the fund's conditions for registration approval, the Labour & Welfare Bureau says.
These courses include logistics management, practical English, Putonghua proficiency, business finance and management, and e-commerce.
The college must inform all affected fund applicants of the deregistration and continue to run the registered courses for those who have enrolled.
If the courses have not yet begun, the college must refund in full all course fees and related payments to the fund applicants. It must not accept new applications and must not promote them as fund-reimbursable courses.
All registered courses under the fund are subject to audit inspections by the Hong Kong Council of Accreditation for Academic & Vocational Qualifications to ensure their full compliance with the approval conditions.
