Beijing meeting: Secretary for Education Michael Suen meets Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office Deputy Director Chen Zuoer.

Secretary for Education Michael Suen called on the Ministry of Education and the Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office in Beijing today.

 

He met Minister of Education Zhou Ji and Vice-Minister Yuan Guiren to discuss educational developments in Hong Kong and the Mainland, and enhancing mutual communication.

 

Mr Suen then visited Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office Deputy Director Chen Zuoer.

 

He and a delegation of 150 from Hong Kong's education sector were also received by the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee Vice-Chairman Li Meng in the Great Hall of the People.

 

They will hold visits and take part in exchange programmes to learn more about the Mainland and its latest developments. The visit programme will help them in their work in promoting national education among Hong Kong's youngsters.
