The kindergarten premises at Hoi Lai Shopping Centre in West Kowloon has been allocated to Yan Oi Tong Limited under the Supplementary School Allocation Exercise 2005, the Education & Manpower Bureau says.

The School Allocation Committee processed 13 applications and selected Yan Oi Tong for the kindergarten.

The kindergarten premises, located on shopping centre's first floor, was completed last month. The allocation recommendation will be sent to the Housing Department for arranging the offer of premises and tenancy agreement.

The allocation exercise was conducted by the committee which comprises an equal number of government officials and non-officials familiar with the local education system. The committee has taken into account the proposed school plans submitted and, where appropriate, the applicants' performance record in running schools.
