Islands District Council vacancy gazetted

The Director of Home Affairs declared by notice in the Gazette today the existence of a vacancy in the Islands District Council.

 

The vacancy arose after ex-officio member Ng Kum-chuen died on August 10.

 

The South Lantau Rural Committee will soon meet to elect its new chairman to hold office as an ex-officio member in Mr Ng's place.
