Regional forums for the 2010 Summit on District Administration will be held in June to discuss issues related to the District Councils.

The Home Affairs Department said today four regional forums on district issues will be held giving participants ample time to exchange views with senior government officials, including the Secretary for Home Affairs, the Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs and the Director of Home Affairs.

The forums have been scheduled for 2.30pm on June 10 at Youth Square with a theme of district facilities management, and 2.30pm on June 15 at Henry G Leong Yaumatei Community Centre on building management and maintenance.

The other two will be held at 9.30am on June 19 on community involvement activities and 2.30pm on June 22 at Tsuen Wan Town Hall on district minor works.
