The Broadcasting Authority is investigating complaints about two Commercial Radio programmes suspected to have breached the political advertising code.
Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Rita Lau today said the authority will deal with the complaints in a fair and transparent manner and will handle them in accordance with the established procedures and mechanism.
It will review the content of the programmes and ask the radio station to submit its response to the allegation. The investigation details will be submitted to the authority's complaint committee for consideration.
