*

The Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Bureau is inviting public views on the implementation of the United Nations International Covenant on Economic, Social & Cultural Rights in Hong Kong.

The Central People's Government will submit China's second report under the covenant, the bureau said today, adding the Government will submit its report to the Central Government on the implementation of the covenant in Hong Kong for incorporation as part of China's report.

The Government has prepared an outline of the topics for inclusion in the report to facilitate public comments. People can submit views to the bureau by February 19, by mail to 3/F East Wing, Central Government Offices, Lower Albert Road or by faxing 2840 0657 or sending an email.

Copies of the report outline can be obtained from District Offices and the bureau's website.
