Chief Secretary Henry Tang and Financial Secretary John Tsang have praised Chief Executive Donald Tsang's 2009-10 policy speech as pragmatic, comprehensive and forward-looking.

Mr Tang said today's address outlined a number of initiatives in terms of regional co-operation, governance and building a caring society, with many being extremely progressive.
