The Registration & Electoral Office will arrange a by-election for the Sha Tin District Council's Tai Wai Constituency.

The Director of Home Affairs will declare a vacancy in the constituency in the Gazette tomorrow. 

The High Court ruled on December 18 Yuen Kwai-choi was not duly elected, so the office has become vacant under the District Councils Ordinance.
