Hong Kong 2007
On sale: The latest Government yearbook, Hong Kong 2007, is now available.

The latest Government yearbook, Hong Kong 2007, which offers an in-depth account of government policy and an overview of Hong Kong's developments last year, is now on sale.

Launched at the Hong Kong Book Fair today, it is 21 chapters of information on local life, from the economy to commerce, industry, infrastructural development, education, transport and culture.

The yearbook also contains a special 10th anniversary souvenir pictorial review inserted into the back cover.

This booklet, Hong Kong x 10, features photos from the 10 yearbooks published since reunification in 1997. It takes readers on a nostalgic journey through a decade of developments in Asia's world city.

The book also comes with a distinctive bright pink sash advertising the Hong Kong x 10 booklet.

It has 12 colour sections with more than 120 photographs highlighting the festivities and special events of the 10th anniversary, economic vitality, biodiversity and the city's cosmopolitan society.

The photo sections also cover Hong Kong's Olympic preparations, elections held during the year, tourism, creative industries and sporting endeavours.

English and Chinese editions at $170 are available at the Information Services Department book fair booth with a 25% discount, along with more than 100 other Government publications.

They can also be purchased from the department's Publications Sales Unit at Room 402, 4/F Murray Building, Garden Road, Central, or ordered from the online Government Bookstore, by calling 2537 1910, downloading an order form from this website, by faxing 2523 7195, or emailing puborder@isd.gov.hk.
