The Government received 476 requests for information under the Code on Access to Information in this year's first quarter, the Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Bureau says.

There have been 24,642 requests received since the code's introduction in March 1995, with 89% met either in full or in part, 2% refused and 5% withdrawn. As at March, 61 requests were still being processed.

People dissatisfied with the response under the code can ask for a review or lodge a complaint with the Ombudsman. In the first quarter the Ombudsman received six complaints.
