Chow Chung-kong and Betty Yuen have been appointed new members to the Independent Commission on Remuneration for Members of the Executive Council & the Legislature & Officials under the Political Appointment System.

Mr Chow is Chief Executive Officer of the Mass Transit Railway Corporation while Mrs Yuen is Managing Director of China Light & Power.

Vincent Cheng has been reappointed chairman to the commission with Liu Pak-wai, Ng Leung-sing, and Nicky Lo reappointed as members. Chung Pui-lam and Tim Lui will retire March 31.

The appointments are for three years from April 1.
