Pang Yiu-kai has been appointed a member of the Standing Commission on Civil Service Salaries & Conditions of Service until the end of 2009.

The Civil Service Bureau thanked Eleanor Ling who retires from the commission this month, for her six-year contribution.

The commission advises the Government on principles and practices governing non-directorate civilian civil servants' pay and conditions of service.

The body is chaired by Nicky Lo. Other members are Ho Lok-sang, Andy Lo, Virginia Choi, Jeffrey Lam, Barry Cheung and Miranda Chung.
