Follow-up human rights report submitted

The Government has submitted a follow-up report in response to the United Nations Human Rights Committee's concluding observations on Hong Kong's second report in light of the International Covenant on Civil & Political Rights.

 

The Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Bureau said the follow-up report has provided information to address the issues raised by the committee, including:

* investigation of complaints against Police;

* measures to prevent and prosecute harassment of media personnel;

* policies and practices regarding right of abode; and,

* the method of forming the Legislative Council.
