2 join appeal tribunal

Nicholas Etches and Mervyn Jacob have been appointed members of the Clearing & Settlement Systems Appeals Tribunal for three years from November 4.

 

Incumbent chairman Justice William Stone, members Dr Eric Li, Ling Chung-yan, Professor Tsang Shu-ki and Maria Xuereb have been reappointed.

 

The tribunal is a statutory panel to hear appeals by anyone who is aggrieved by a Monetary Authority decision on the designation of a clearing and settlement system and related matters. The body ensures decisions are fair and reasonable.
