Professor Lee Chack-fan has been reappointed Harbour-front Enhancement Committee Chairman until August 2009, the Development Bureau says.

Professor Lee is a Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President, and a Chair Professor, of Hong Kong University's Department of Civil Engineering.

The committee comprises 21 non-official members and six senior Government officials. The non-official members represent different sectors of the community including professional institutes, green groups, harbour interest bodies and the business sector, as well as people from varied backgrounds.
