Dr Raymond Ch'ien has been re-appointed Mass Transit Railway Corporation Chairman while Michael Tien has been re-appointed Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation Chairman.

KCRC Managing Board members Vincent Lo, Ng Leung-sing, Patrick Blackwell Paul, Abraham Shek, and Professor Richard Wong have also been re-appointed.

Their re-appointments will last until December 31, or the day to be appointed by the Secretary for Transport & Housing by notice published in the Gazette under the Rail Merger Ordinance, whichever is earlier.

Secretary for Transport & Housing Eva Cheng said the managing board, with the re-appointment of the chairman and the managing board members, will continue to  lead KCRC in the run-up to the rail merger.
