The final phase of the Government's five-day week scheme was launched on July 1. Those offices that moved to the new work pattern have extended their office hours on weekdays but will not open on Saturdays.
Emergency and essential services - such as those involving law and order, penal-institution administration and rescue services - continue to be provided round the clock.
Service units joining a five-day week in the final phase include the Land Registry, the Social Welfare Department's Social Security Field Units, the Department of Health's tuberculosis and chest and social hygiene services, and some Police offices.
People should check with the 24-hour 1823 Citizen's Easy Link or the dedicated website before visiting Government offices.
