Administrative consultant Tang Yau-fat has been elected to the Tai Po District Council after getting 73.7% of the 1,420 votes in the Hong Lok Yuen constituency by-election. The voter turnout rate was 30.78%.

 

The nomination period for the by-election ran from April 25 to May 9, with two nominations received. More details about the by-election can be found here.
