Capital visit: Chief Executive Donald Tsang briefs the press on his Beijing visit.
* Media Link

It is a good opportunity to hear the state leaders' views on the Hong Kong Government's future core works during his stay in Beijing, Chief Executive Donald Tsang said at the start of his three-day visit.

Having arrived in the capital this afternoon, Mr Tsang said those opinions would be valuable to his governance.

Mr Tsang will receive the instrument of appointment as the third-term Chief Executive from Premier Wen Jiabao, and meet President Hu Jintao and other state leaders tomorrow.

He will also visit some Olympic game venues and new community facilities in the city.
