The Home Affairs Bureau has reappointed Pang King-chee as Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education Chairman, and 11 members, for a two-year term from April 1.

The committee is a non-statutory advisory body to promote civic education outside schools through a range of publicity and educational programmes. It commissions research studies on different aspects of civic education, works in partnership with non-governmental organisations on promotion projects, and operates funding schemes to sponsor civic education projects.
