3 social service units to close Saturdays
*

Three Social Welfare Department service units will join phase two of the five-day week scheme from January 1 with their opening hours extended on weekdays.They will close on Saturdays.

 

They are the Community Service Orders Office, Probation Offices and the Medical Social Services Unit in the Kowloon Bay Integrated Treatment Centre.

 

The department said the migration of these offices to the five-day scheme will not affect their services to the public. 

 

The new opening hours are of Community Service Orders Office and Probation Offices are Monday to Friday from 8.45am to 6pm. The Medical Social Services Unit in the Kowloon Bay Integrated Treatment Centre will open from 8.30am to 5.30pm on Mondays and from 8.30am to 5.15pm from Tuesdays to Fridays.
