Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Frederick Ma has appointed Ambrose Cheung as a lay member of the Council of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, for a two-year term from December 16.

Mr Cheung is an executive director of Lai Sun Development Company and a Sham Shui Po District Councillor. He also serves on the Securities & Futures Commission advisory committee.
