Johannes Chan, Samuel Chan, Anita Ma, Dr Elizabeth Shing, Priscilla Wong, Cecilia Woo, Dr Yu Wing-tong and Pamela Chan have been appointed members of the Consumer Legal Action Fund Management Committee for two years from December 6.

The fund was established in 1994 to provide financial assistance to consumers wishing to take legal action against unscrupulous traders.

The Consumer Council is the trustee of the fund. The management committee assists the council in managing the fund and determining the eligibility of applications under the fund.
