Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Frederick Ma has appointed Catherine Leung as a lay member of the Council of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants for a two-year term from December 1.

Ms Leung is the Managing Director and Head of Hong Kong Investment Banking of J.P. Morgan Securities (Asia Pacific).

Mr Ma thanked outgoing lay member Sophia Kao for her contributions to the council.
