Poll cards for the Eastern District Council by-election on September 10 have been sent to about 7,600 voters in the Tsui Wan Constituency, the Registration & Electoral Office says.

Those who have not yet received their poll cards should call the election hotline, 2891 1001.

Voters should also have received an appeal letter from the returning officer, a map of the polling station, a guide to voting, an Independent Commission Against Corruption leaflet on clean elections and a leaflet introducing the candidates.

The two candidates contesting the by-election are Ku Kwai-yiu, a technician with no political affiliation, and Keung Suk-man, a Democratic Alliance for the Betterment & Progress of Hong Kong member working in the social and labour sector. The successful candidate will fill a vacant seat in the Eastern District Council.

The polling station, at SKH Li Fook Hing Secondary School, Tsui Wan Street, will open from 7.30am to 10.30pm that day for electors to cast their votes. It will be converted into the counting station after the poll closes.
