Lands Department counter hours extended
*
Lands Department

Lands Department service counters will extend their weekday operating hours when they start closing on Saturdays from July 1.

People seeking services from the department are advised to make enquiries by phone during the new office hours. They can also apply for services by faxing 2868 4707 or by emailing landsd@landsd.gov.hk. For enquiries call 2231 3294.

Meanwhile, the opening hours of Land Registry public service counters will remain unchanged. For enquiries call 3105 0000.

The Buildings Department counter, which receives applications for various permits and building plans submissions, will close Saturdays but open longer on weekdays. The Building Information Centre will also move to a five-day week.

The department will continue to provide round-the-clock services to handle building safety emergencies. Audit checks of construction sites will be maintained from Mondays to Saturdays. The department's general telephone enquiries and complaints hotline will also remain unchanged.

For enquiries call 2626 1616 or visit the department's website.
