Secretary for Commerce, Industry & Technology Joseph Wong will leave for Beijing today for his first official visit to the capital since taking up this post in January.

During his two-day stay in Beijing, Mr Wong will visit the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration of Radio Film & Television, the Ministry of Information Industry, the Ministry of Science & Technology, and the Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office of the State Council. He will discuss matters of mutual interests with his ministerial counterparts.   

Mr Wong will return to Hong Kong on Thursday.
