*

A total of four nominations had been received for the Central & Western District Council Centre Street Constituency by-election when the two-week nomination period ended today.

The submissions received were from solicitor Sidney Lee, certified public accountant Louis Leung, a managing director affiliated with the Democratic Party, Wong Kin Shing, and senior electronic technician Yuen Fong Wa.

The Returning Officer will rule on the validity of nominees' candidature shortly.

Voting will take place on Sunday, June 11. The successful candidate will fill the vacant seat of an elected member in the Central and Western District Council.
