Ronald Arculli, Laura Cha and Moses Cheng have been appointed Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing board members for two years.

Financial Secretary Henry Tang said he is glad they have accepted the appointments, adding they are well-respected and prominent figures in the financial services industry.

He also thanked retiring members Charles Lee, Tim Freshwater and KS Lo for their dedicated service and invaluable counsel in the past six years.

The HKEx board comprises a maximum of six directors elected by shareholders, the HKEx Chief Executive, and a maximum of six directors appointed by the Financial Secretary.

"We trust all the directors will work closely together to the best interest of both HKEx and the public as a whole," Mr Tang said.
