The two-week nomination period for the Central & Western District Council Centre Street Constituency by-election, to fill the vacated office of a member, will run April 27 to May 10. A poll will be held on June 11 if there is more than one candidate.

Any registered geographical constituency electors aged 21 or above who have lived in Hong Kong for the three years immediately before the nomination can be nominated.

Nominees must have their forms signed by at least 10 registered electors of the constituency, while an elector is allowed to sign only one nomination.

Early submission

The completed nomination form, together with an election deposit of $3,000, must be personally submitted to the returning officer within the nomination period.
