On the move: (In order of appearance) Carrie Yau, Sandra Lee, Eva Cheng, Au King-chi and Thomas Tso assume new posts.

The Government has announced five senior appointments involving experienced Administrative Officers with rich experience in public administration and proven leadership and management abilities, Secretary for the Civil Service Denise Yue says.

 

Permanent Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food Carrie Yau will take up the post of Permanent Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food (Food & Environmental Hygiene).

 

Permanent Secretary for Economic Development & Labour (Economic Development) Sandra Lee will assume the post of Permanent Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food (Health & Welfare).

 

Commissioner for Tourism Eva Cheng will succeed Sandra Lee as Permanent Secretary for Economic Development & Labour (Economic Development).

 

Deputy Secretary for Housing, Planning & Lands (Planning & Lands) Au King-chi will succeed Eva Cheng as Commissioner for Tourism.

 

Former Deputy Secretary for Home Affairs Thomas Tso will take up the post of Director, Office of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in Beijing.

 

" I have every confidence that they will continue to serve the community with professionalism and dedication in their new capacities, and ably lead their offices to meet the challenges ahead," Ms Yue said.
